Our Story

Banchan Nara was born in our own home, within the flavors that have always stayed with us. It all began in 2013, when our mother, Cristina Won, prepared and sold banchan in bulk in Patronato, cooking just as she did for her family: with time, dedication, and a lot of love. Every recipe carried a memory, a story, and the desire to share a little piece of home.

In 2017, that small family business transformed into a restaurant, inspired by our mother's cooking and the dishes that always brought us together around the table. Over the years, this dream has been passed down from generation to generation: first my older sister, and now myself, since 2024; we continue to nurture this legacy with the same love and respect for our roots.

Every dish we serve seeks to preserve traditional Korean flavors and make those who visit us feel right at home, enjoying food made with history, tradition, and heart.
